Arrival

  • Fly into Reykjavik with a private transfer to your hotel.
  • Bathe in the Blue Lagoon to cure the jetlag.
  • Dinner in an Icelandic restaurant followed by a Northern Lights guided tour outside the city where light pollution is low.

Golden Circle Tour

  • Embark on an unmissable Golden Circle Tour including Þingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot springs, and Gullfoss Waterfall.
  • Top it off with a visit to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall.

Secret Lagoon

  • Depart for Hella stopping at the Secret Lagoon en route, one of Iceland’s oldest geothermal hot springs located in Flúðir, offering a relaxing and natural bathing experience.
  • Arrive in Hella and check into your hotel.

DAY 4 4

Volcanos & valleys

  • Visit the active Hekla Volcano with an expert guide who will explain the geology and exercise safety precautions.
  • Hike to Gjáin Valley with its lush greenery and unique rock formations before finishing in Þjórsárdalur Valley to admire the Hjálparfoss double waterfall.

Reynisfjara Beach

  • Head to the charming village of Vik stopping at the magnificent Skógafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
  • Hike up Reynisfjall Mountain for stunning panoramic views of the nearby Dyrhólaey arch, and surrounding coastline.

Höfn: 1 night
DAY 6 6
Höfn

Glacier lagoon

  • Continue on to Höfn and visit Vatnajökull National Park to hike the various trails to admire the landscape of lagoons and glaciers.
  • Ascend to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and nearby Diamond Beach, where icebergs from the lagoon wash ashore.

Vök: 1 night
DAY 7 7
Vök

Fjords and baths

  • Head to Vök, stopping to hike the East Fjords of Iceland, admiring the landscape.
  • Unwind in the Vök Baths, floating infinity pools on Lake Urriðavatn with a bistro.

Akureyri: 2 nights
DAY 8 8
Akureyri

Geothermal Area

  • Head to Akureyri stopping over halfway at the Námaskarð Geothermal Area, with hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots.
  • Lunch in the nearby town of Reykjahlíð, located on the shores of Lake Mývatn.

DAY 9 9
Akureyri

Canyon hike

  • Visit the Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon and Dettifoss Waterfall at Vatnajökull National Park.
  • Hike the Canyon Loop or the Echo Rocks Trail before returning to Akurery for the evening.

DAY 10 10
Akureyri

Departure

  • Head to Akureyri International Airport for your onward flight. You can also finish this loop of Iceland with stops in Siglufjörður for whale watching and Reykholt for more hot springs, volcano hikes and waterfalls before ending back in the capital, Reykjavik.

In March we went to Rome to watch Italy v Wales, Six Nations fixture. We had a wonderful time in Rome and everything worked perfectly with flights, hotel, rugby match and transfers. Mario and company made our adventure effortless, from accommodations to tours to transportation from place to place. The tour guides; Will, Dino, I apologize for forgetting the names of the others From Milan to Rome to Satorini to Mykonos to Athens. Their knowledge of the particular area was unparalleled. Would I tour with Bellarome again hell yes I’m looking forward to touring with them in 2024

We just returned from a vacation planned by Daniel and the Bellarome team, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! We have three sons, aged 21, 18 and 16, and we are all futbol/soccer fans, and a few of us enjoy history. Daniel understood this and planned an incredible ten-day adventure based in two cities, Manchester and London which included three soccer matches, four days of well-planned tours, reliable, on time transportations, and a special NYE dinner. We still had freedom to do some of our own sightseeing and plan our own restaurants. All in all such a fantastic experience for our entire family!

Bellarome Travel was recommended when our regular travel agent closed shop. So happy that we took the recommendation! We made our travel arrangements just before Covid hit and had to postpone our trip many times. Daniel, in particular, was a huge support to us as we dealt with all the cancellations and rescheduling, while he had to deal with the uncertainty of the effect of Covid on his own industry.
