Arrival

Museum & cruise

  • Lunch cruise and guided tour to Drottningholm Castle and its beautiful garden and grounds.

Djurgården bike tour

  • Afternoon bike tour of Djurgården to visit Skansen, a must-see Open Air Museum.
  • Lunch in Djurgården at one of the many cafes with outdoor seating in summer.
  • Later, visit a museum of your choice on the island.

Food tour & Södermalm island

  • Nordic street food tour.
  • Explore Södermalm island, taking in the views of Stockholm from Skinnarviksberget.
  • Dinner in the trendy SoFo neighborhood.

Vaxholm: 3 nights
DAY 5 5
Vaxholm

ARCHIPELAGO

  • Guided tour through the archipelago ending in Vaxholm: home for the next few days.
  • Settle into the island environment and take a refreshing dip in the sea.
  • Dinner at a historic restaurant, followed by a relaxing classic Nordic wood sauna.

DAY 6 6
Vaxholm

Fortress & cooking

  • Short ferry ride over to Vaxholm Fortress for a guided tour and lunch.
  • Learn the art of Swedish coffee breaks (fika) and how to bake the classic cinnamon bun (kanelbulle).

DAY 7 7
Vaxholm

KAYAK TOUR

  • Guided kayak tour around Vaxholm. Listen to local stories and admire the picturesque pastel-painted wooden cottages.
  • ‘Fika’ with a dip in the Baltic Sea. Look out for seals and other native wildlife.
  • Typical Swedish lunch in the village.

DAY 8 8
Vaxholm

Departure
